Maverick Lance's 1000th ride day. This part features interview footage with Lance walking from the Gemini parking lot thru the Magnum area park entrance gate. The Maverick roller coaster has been open almost two full seasons. Lance finished 2007 with 412 rides including the Golden Ticket award he rode with fellow coaster enthusiast Randy. He has 25 rollbacks on the lift hill and has been stuck in the tunnel. I met Lance a couple seasons ago sporadically riding Millennium Force then Maverick. He mainly rides Maverick, Magnum and Millennium Force. I ride a little bit of everything and see the shows with friends myself. His enthusiasm for the rides and the park and his honesty is geniune. It was a pleasure to help him document this ride which meant so much to him. He rode with Ellen aka youtube user "coastergurl7" who also put a clip of his 999th ride online. I rode with Lance on his 1001st after we documented this and right before it started to rain at the end of the day. But it includes footage of the walk from the Gemini parking lot, thru the Magnum gate, down the Gemini Midway, over the CP & LE RR tracks after a short wait for the train to pass, to Maverick's entrance, thru a short line queue which moved quickly & efficiently up to the station, and onto the ride on the ride, to the brake run, off the ride, and out to the ride photo & gift ...
